Made from large bath sheets. Please bring scissors and for the first run buy the “cheap towels called bath sheets (they are longer than bath towels). Please cut off the ends with the decorative design, This will reduce cutting time.
Tie Dye
Children or adults can bring 1 shirt and pair of socks or a scarf and have fun dying them here. Rubber bands and 2-3 colors included. The dyes sit for 24 hours to cure. You can take the newly dyed items with you in a ziplock to rinse out at home or come back the next day to rinse them out here too. $5.00 charge for each color three.

Map Magnet Making Workshop

Copper Swirl Bracelet

This is an all skill-level class.
You will learn how to bend and form copper wire to create this lovely bracelet in your size. You will make everything in this piece including the toggle clasp! Bring your own jewelry tools or use the supplied tools, including a variety of pliers, nipper tool and hammer. Learn how to form wire, wire-wrap, hammer copper and open and close jump rings. You will also learn about different gauges of wire. This is a beautiful bracelet for yourself or a gift and you will be amazed at the results.

Weaving On A Handheld Loom

We teach on the Purl and Loop stash buster. You will weave with a colorful yarn and make a mug rug (coaster). Please note that you will take home the coaster and not the loom or extra yarns, those are sold at my Studio separately. It takes three to four hours.
Apple Pincushion

Come and make an Apple Pincushion with us. Red or Green or Yellow whichever you prefer. We will use 1/4″ seam allowances and fusible interfacing to keep it Sturdy for all those Pins you’re going to stick in it.

Bracelet Making

Come and make colorful Friendship Bracelets with us! There will be two separate classes with each offering a different bracelet to make. At 1:00pm we will be making a Rainbow Fishbone Chevron Bracelet and are 4:00pm we will be making a Colorful Circle Shaped Bracelet. The cost for each class is $25.00 with all supplies included.
Knitting
Price: $25.00
I can teach children in a one on one class the two basic stitches, knit and purl. All supplies included but please note I sell yarns but I do not sell knitting needles (You can find them at Small Studio 24549 Lorain North Olmstead). The child will make a small cotton washcloth. I can teach adults one teacher and one – three adults if you have a group.I can also teach one adult and one child. Please make an appointment, I do not teach on a walk in basis.
Simple Fern Leaf

Join us for a fun workshop making this ‘Simple Fern Leaf Embroidery’ taught by Etsy Shop owner, Janelle Bargerstock. We will be walking through each step of this project and learning beginner tips and techniques for hand embroidery. This is the perfect first project for someone who has never hand embroidered before- no previous experience required! We will observe social distancing guidelines while still giving guided instruction and helping you from start to finish. All supplies are included in the price of the class. We hope you will join in the fun!

There are lots of choices of what children can do with clay. We can roll out the clay and, using a large variety of cookie cutters, make ornaments. There is jewelry also, beads and medallions. And then hand building, animals or small dishes for coin change or trinkets. The possibilities are very open.

Pot Holder
Price: $30
One teacher, four or less students. Child or adult will make one colorful 100% cotton potholder using the Harrisville pro loom and loops. This class is 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Child will take home the potholder only. Looms and loops can be purchased separately.
Slipcasting
Slip casting is done with a liquid form of clay called slip. It is poured into molds. I have many molds for plant pots , birds, dinner ware, coffee cups. I think the most popular among the children is a small turtle. It is a two part class where the students come back a week or so later to glaze their pottery.
$40.00 paid up front covers both classes.
Painting for Fun
Price: $20.00
Children will have a variety of choices, painting on card stock, fabric, paper flowers. I use my favorite paints I discovered at one of the preschool settings who had great supplies, BioColor and Colorations Liquid Watercolor. We offer all kinds of brushes, scrapers , splashes, spay bottles and more. This class is all for fun it is not instruction, my assistant Kayla handles the painting, drawing and Charcole,and soft pastels, classes and the start at $40.00
Sewing
Starts at $40.00
We have quite a line up of sewing classes. Taught by different professionals.
Price $60.00 – 3 – 4 hours
Adults can weave on a rigid heddle loom that will be warped for you. The weaving will be cut off to go home with you. You can choose a small placemat or two mug rugs (coasters). The loom is not included and I do not sell rigid heddles. You can bring your own Chunky or Bulky yarn. Or buy beautiful cotton yarn in bright colors at the Studio.
Rigid Heddle Warping
You must have a rigid Heddle loom to take this class. Prices vary and I bring in different weavers to give these workshops.
